Wolves in the Throne Room is a black metal band from the festering wilds of Olympia, Washington, U.S. But, dispite that brazen fact, they hold (and, honorably, live by) the life-resounding tenents of anarcho-primitivism, anti-civilization scripture, and other tinctures of the post-peak, mid-collapse, mind- and eyes-opened substrata of our dying civilization.
By those reasons (and reason of the swift coolness of their first CD, Diadem of 12 Stars), Sess, Dan Bartlett, and doubtless others particularly relish in this nature-traced, forest-humbled black metal band.
