The Oil Drum

The Oil Drum (T.O.D.) is, at core, a collection of region-specific blogs and one aggregated global blog to which its select, specialist cadre of energy actuaries, analysts, and investors, engineers, geologists, and scientists post energy articles, industry exposes, forays into collective process, and scientific papers — particularly, as pertains fossil fuel depletion and our transition to an ecotechnic, post-fossil fuel (and, thereby, post-industrialization) civilization — all, into the public domain.

Frequent contributors include Gail Tverberg (Gail the Actuary), James Howard Kunstler, Jeffrey J. Brown, and Jeff Vail.
