The Camden Centre Talk

Terence McKenna ~ Alchemical Youth on the Edge of the World

The Camden Centre Talk (1992-06-16) is Terence McKenna‘s talkative, Maya-reductive, roughly two-hour long treatise on entheogenics, entropy-abeyance of the Gaia Hypothesis, and plodding trip-stops along the Archaic Revival.

Camden is a borough of London, England; and Camden Centre is its civic centre. This treatise, disbursed there, may be Terence McKenna‘s longest, most all-engaging, and only-halfway solemn act of spoken word — autopoetic, fiery, and stretching for the sunward sign.

Recordings

Raiazome knows of no audio and/or video recordings of this event — other than the for-profit, for-tape recording of this event, shortly after its conception, from which transcripts, above, were culled.

Raiazome must, thus, borishly leave you these plaintext trimmings, alone. If only you read them, though, what need for sheened, gossamer trappings of higher quality, queerly captured media? Terence‘s lifted saga-song lilts on, whether captured or read, the unheard, unsung page.
