Stanchion Spliced (2010) is Leyli Cecil‘s first collection of free verse.
Note: This is a draft document. While fairly representative of its finished revision — e.g., a Scribus-inscribed PDF document for electronic and/or physical publication per a proper chapbook— fledgling errors, inconsistency, and noninnocent innuendo probably abound.

— only words, and pall locutions of a Faith we thieved of Gaia.
Exegesis
This collection consists of three sections, themselves sectioned on three haiku. These sections are:
- Ellipses. Poems penned solely in
2008. - Epistles. Poems penned between
2004—2008. - Excisions. Poems penned between
1998—2004.
Ellipses
Ellipses has poems penned solely in 2008 — collected for your critique, my dour, ego-towering vista’s light, and second sight of luck for all.
Epistles
Epistles has poems penned between 2004—2008 — collected for lash and luck of wind-enlivening sight. An epistle is a missive; a massive letter; a space-mastering postcard or other postmastered card. Each of these poems is, thus, an epistle to a friend. Some of these friends are of some renown; others none or only little known; but all, I’d loved… And leveraging, give the only gift for which I’ve (just) a little, poesy-succouring talent. And giving, may this Parable of my Talents be sate for me — for (just) a little longer.
Excisions
Excisions has poems penned between 1998—2004. This is a haphazardly haggard collection of his earliest poetry that, while not the stablest, ablest representation of that, has some rambling, visceral brambles of beauty.
