John Keats (1975—1821) was an English poet. Despite the brevity of his yearling life, having valed into the throngs of death at only 26 years old and only the majority of his poetry in the last year and a half of that, “Mister John Keats five feet high” is commonly regarded as the better of all English poets — and, perchance, in chancy rightness, the best.
